The Cayenne is our most asked-for car for a simple reason: it does everything well and nothing loudly. Quick enough to enjoy the bay road, restrained enough for a business dinner, and sized so that villa lanes and hotel ramps never become a topic.
If the week involves real driving, the Lovcen serpentine, the Cetinje switchbacks, a Dubrovnik day trip, this is the SUV that treats those as sport rather than chores. It is the default recommendation for a reason.
Because it is the most requested car in the pool, the Cayenne is also the one to book first: the July and August listings go early, and a week left late often means choosing the GLE or the Q8 instead, which is no hardship but not quite the same car. People rent it for exactly one reason, that it does everything, the airport, the serpentine, the dinner and the supermarket, without ever feeling like the wrong choice. If you only want to make one decision about the car, make it this one and make it early.
